System of play
Silkeborg Open 2022
We have 26 teams competing, and they are divided into 3 groups with 8-10 in each group. The first 3 rounds are played after ranking within the groups.
No team will play the same team twice during the first rounds Friday and Saturday. This rule doesn’t apply for Sunday.
All games (except the closed final between the 2 top teams), incl. the final round, will be played on time. After 75 min. there will sound a signal, and then you finish the end you are in + one more end. The closed final will be played over 8 ends with extra end in case of a tie. The team with last rock in the extra end, will be declared loser, if none of the teams manage to score.
The games are ranked by:
1: Points
2: Ends
3: Stones
4: Ends against
5: Stones against
6: Draw-to-tee
Walk-over will be 2 points, 6 ends and 6 stones.

After 3rd round, the 4th round will be played after total ranking.
Then the top 10 plays the final round.
The two top teams will play a closed final.
The other 8 teams play against each other after ranking and playing for rankings 3 - 10.
There will be prizes for all the teams playing in the final round.
